Pressure Head – #1 in the Plumber’s Mate Mystery series
Tom has got to be one of my favorite characters. He is perfectly fashioned and, in my opinion, an amazing choice in narration.
He carries the story with his keen observations wrapped in witty humor and life experiences. I love how he is so expressive with his emotions. He is quirky, endearing, and intelligent, though not in a bookish or educational sense.
He has great logic and instincts and is an observer of the human character. Tom is surprised and very jl merrow pressure head that his school life was ruined by a homophobic bully who turned out to be gay, and even more surprised when Phil jl merrow pressure head him to help find the killer.

One of things I most liked about the book was the jl merrow pressure head of Tom. He talks all the time and finds it difficult to cope with silence.
The dour, careful Phil drives him up the wall with his silences and the way he thinks through what he wants to say before he responds to Tom.
This leads to a lot of sniping and bickering between the pair.
Tom Paretski's not just a plumber with a dodgy hip courtesy of a schoolboy accident. Her characters are quite unique and Tom is so priceless and well-drawn. He made me smile time and again.

The guy is a bit snarky which made him all the more multilayered as well as endearing jl merrow pressure head me. Furthermore, the plot is well-developed, the dialogue is witty and hilarious and the writing is very enthralling. He has a more pessimistic outlook on people and I thought that made sense given his job.
They are a bit opposites in some aspects and it was fun to see how they could jl merrow pressure head and also how they had such different opinions on some things. There is quite a prominent romantic subplot in this book, which I liked. But I actually found myself really enjoying the banter between Tom and Phil.
They both have a few hang-ups from their high school past, which does influence things a bit now and creates some tension.
I really appreciated how Merrow gives them a slow build to their relationship. There is too much baggage there to accept these guys immediately falling in love or jumping into bed together.

Instead we see them take small steps of getting to know each other once again, accepting mistakes from the past, opening themselves up to friendship and then more.
I really felt I could believe in these guys and their relationship as it develops over the course of the book. jl merrow pressure head
I do wish the story went a teeny bit further with Tom and Phil though. We get to the point of a nice HFN, but I would love to see more of them.
