Add the onions nandu kulambu in tamil green chillies and fry till it turns golden. Now, the pan needs to be covered with a lid and the mixture needs to be cooked for minutes on low heat, while stirring every once in a while.
Heat oil in a wide pan and add the seasoning ingredients. While we indulge in sarsoon ka saag and makki ki roti, there are also rasam and chettinad curries which are equally treasured.
Let the gravy simmer for another 5 minutes for the ground masala to get cooked. Finally add chopped cilantro and switch off.
